Prince of Wales Hotel
|
|
The Prince of Wales hotel is located at the centre of the Lake District National Park and was built in 1855 as a coaching house. It was originally named the Lake Hotel, because of its proximity to Grasmere Lake. It changed its name to the Prince of Wales following a visit by the then Prince of Wales, the young man went on to succeed his mother, Queen Victoria, as King Edward VII. The hotel has retained many of its Victorian features and is ideal for those seeking both tranquillity and activities. Utell Value Selection - Takes pride in creating a friendly and informal atmosphere, providing excellent value for money for both business and leisure stays.
